1. Who We Are
Coalescent Consulting ("we," "us," "our") is operated by Demi Joseph, providing career coaching, digital courses, and related consulting services to clients in South Africa and internationally. By purchasing or enquiring about any service through our website, you ("you," "the client") agree to the terms set out below.

2. Our Services
We currently offer the following:
- The Career Reset — a self-paced, 4-week digital course consisting of workbooks and video lessons, delivered via private access link upon purchase.
- The Ultimate Reset — a private 1:1 coaching call, arranged on enquiry and scheduled individually following personal contact with Demi Joseph.
Service descriptions, pricing, and availability are as published on our website at the time of purchase or enquiry, and may be updated from time to time without affecting orders already placed.
3. Purchases & Payment
All payments are processed securely through PayFast. Prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Once payment is confirmed, you will receive access to your purchased service via email.
It is your responsibility to ensure the email address provided at checkout is correct, as access details and communications will be sent there.
4. Refund Policy
All sales are final. We do not offer refunds on The Career Reset or The Ultimate Reset, under any circumstances, once payment has been made.
Because The Career Reset grants immediate digital access to course content, and The Ultimate Reset reserves dedicated time personally with Demi Joseph, we are unable to offer refunds once a purchase is confirmed or a call is scheduled.
We encourage you to read all service descriptions carefully, and to reach out to us with any questions before purchasing, if you are unsure whether a service is right for you.
4.1 Missed 1:1 Calls (The Ultimate Reset)
If you fail to attend a scheduled 1:1 call and do not reschedule within one calendar month of the original booking date, the session will be considered forfeited. No refund or replacement session will be issued in this case.
If you need to reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible, and in any event before the one-month period lapses, so that an alternative time can be arranged.
5. Course Access
The Career Reset is provided for your personal, individual use only. Course materials, including workbooks and videos, may not be copied, shared, resold, or redistributed without our express written permission. Access is granted for an unlimited period from the date of purchase, allowing you to revisit the content at your own pace.
6. The Ultimate Reset: Scheduling & Conduct
1:1 calls are arranged on an enquiry basis. After you submit an enquiry, we will contact you personally to confirm suitability, scheduling, and payment before any session is booked. Calls take place via video at an agreed time and last approximately 45 minutes.
We reserve the right to decline or reschedule a call enquiry at our discretion, for example where availability does not allow it, or where the service is not the right fit for your circumstances.
7. Nature of Our Services
Our coaching and course content is intended to support reflection, clarity, and planning around your career. It does not constitute financial, legal, medical, or psychological advice, and should not be relied upon as such. Any decisions you make regarding your career, finances, or personal circumstances remain your own responsibility.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Coalescent Consulting and Demi Joseph shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of our services, courses, or 1:1 calls. Our total liability in connection with any service shall not exceed the amount paid by you for that service.
9. Privacy
Any personal information you provide when purchasing a service or submitting an enquiry, such as your name, email address, and any details shared during a 1:1 call, is used solely to provide our services to you and to communicate with you about them. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version published on our website at the time of your purchase will apply to that transaction. Continued use of our services after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
